Cheap Beach Holidays.
Pretty awesome, but how are you going to upgrade
The thing I find appalling in modern day electronics is the “working component weight” to “Electronics cooling component weight” ratio. If A cooler weighs more then the motherboard then the technology is flawed or at least not ready for market.
This does not seem to be a good compromise.
A chip should only be allowed on the normal market if it operated at around room temperature with minimal heat sink additions, everything else is a hack.
I guess you could concentrate on cooling the surface of the liquid and convection will make sure the cold oil sinks and the hot rises.
mild laxative!!
does it improve how the computer works or is it just for show?
Yes, so you would still need some airflow around it. But it would be easier to cool the oil off with air than the hardware, because the shape of the oil can be easily manipulated to cool off easily. Like a liquid heatsink.
Wouldn’t there be a downside? Wouldn’t the oil quickly become heat- saturated? Would there be some smell as it got hot? And what about disc drives and such?
VERGA SON LO MAXIMO ….
Is it ok to keep the fans in?
I know you want to move the oil about but wont the motors burn out? and approx. what was there rpm in the oil? I must admit im thinking of giving it a go for a laugh…
WTF ..
nice ! this ownz my watercooling :p
ööööm no hobbies?
what is styl of oil plz !
what is the point of no fans you want the oil to be flowing not standing still
if u put fish innit they would die because of there being no water but only oil.
how much for a case?
can fishes be put in there?
Collest thing I’ve seen yet! NICE.
Hey nerd, forgot to take the PSU and GPU fans off. , nice mod though its been done, countless times before.
i want doing it!!
oh, ok. thanks man. I was listening to my dad saying it was BS lol. but i guess it’s real.
the mineral oil doesn’t conduct electricity. So there’s no chance of there being a short.
how does this work? i be baffoozled o.O
Very cool, and completely insane. I love it!
the fish would drown.
How does cooling work? Do the bubbles help cooling?
