Sea World Orlando Aquarium
Cur417 asked:
Highlights of various aquarium exhibits at Sea World Orlando, including the Orca friends and family playing underwater between performances. Comments?
Cheap Beach Holidays.
Thank you for your kind comments ~ we went to Sea World 2 days and were given twice as many photo/video opportunities.
Thats some sick music! Also you seem to catch all the animals at full beauty. When I went to SWF only Tillikum was on orca display and the polar bear was no were in sight! You are very lucky, great footage.
Great footage of the orcas!
You got some great shots there, fantastic video. Seems when you went, most of the animals were out on full display. When I went the Polar bear was out for about 2 seconds then ran behind a huge snowy wall so we couldn’t see him, also there was only one Killer Whales in it’s exhibit.
Brilliant park, I’m going back there again some time.
I love this:):):)
Awesome video! I never thought I could find any footage of Katina, Taku, Takara and Kohana (the killer whales) together!
Thank you for this beautiful quality video!!
Resident Orca’s come just offshore near the San Juan Islands in Washington State.
Very well said. Thank you for your comment and visiting my channel.
Some people aren’t lucky enough to see Orca in the wild, i myself have, and i have also seen them in Seaworld. Captivity is sometimes the only way we can educate people about these amazing creatures, without which the number of Orca surviving in the wild might not be so great. I agree that the best place for animals is in their natural habitat but sometimes you just have to accept that these animals are in captivity and there’s nothing we can do about it.
Just to clear things us, Orca are doing very well in the wild, the are not endangered. Captivity is cruel and unnecessary! Sea world has helped us learn about these animals but its best we stop breeding in captivity. The time and effort would be much better spent finding ways to preserve the natural habitat, God bless Alaska.

Humans are the reason the number of Orcas in the wild is declining, for this reason, i think it only fair that humans do their best to save them too, so be it if that means captivity. In the future captivity may be the only way we can see certain animals. I’m sure if the whales didn’t enjoy what they do, they wouldn’t do it. No ones going to force a 10 tonne whale to spit water at someone. End of.
Sure its wrong to keep orcas captive…
but what many people don’t know is that orcas are slowly disappearing in the wild, they are dying from toxic chemicals in the water. In a way its a good thing to keep some whales in captivity especially ones that are able to breed successfully. they’re probably going to be needed sometime in the future to ensure their survival in the wild.
Notice how the male orca’s dorcel fin is flooped over? Captivity causes this to happen. This is an extreamly rare occurance in the wild according to some, though Iv done a bunch of research and can not find one case of a wild orca with a flopped over fin that was not caused by some sort of human interferance such as boat accsidents. Captivity causes permanant physical defects to captive orcas. This is proof that orcas shouldn’t be in captivity.
Get a lesson in grammar before you speak again. I’d love to continue our discussion, but frankly, I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying.
with other sea creatures its not just them u no i just happen to work at sea world they have they best time playing with the dolphins soo w/e
…Um…. no they’re not! They can’t even use tracking or hunting or communication abilities because they’re isolated in a tank! In what way is that better than the ocean?
sooo umm yah they shouldnt keep certin animals in captivity but for like orcas its actualy a better place
but they r in a better place
That doesn’t matter. They’re supposed to be outside navigating and hunting and participating in their social networks. How can you justify their containment and exploitation into forms of crude entertainment? There are many animals that should not be held captive. Orcas are a prime example.
um guys… most of the animals at seaworld were bred and born at seaworld!!
Penguins will rule the world some day, and I will bow down to them.
